Eye on Design is published as part of AIGA, the professional association for design, the oldest and largest not-for-profit membership organization for design in the United States—with 71 chapters and more than 26,000 members.

Anne Quito is a design writer and art director based in New York City. She graduated from Georgetown University with a Master’s degree in Visual Culture in 2009 and is an alumna of the School of Visual Arts Design Criticism MFA, where she wrote a thesis on the branding of the world's newest nation, South Sudan. She is the recipient of the Henry Wolf scholarship and was awarded the first-ever Maria Popova Scholarship for Homecoming to Purpose prize. Her writing has been featured in Designers and Books, Design Observer, Core 77, Unbeige, intern magazine, and Works that Work. Anne is the founding director of Design Lab and has spoken at TED Global, TEDxPhoenix, AIGA, WHO/PAHO, and the CDC about design in the public sector.
