Every Friday afternoon we raise a glass to celebrate some of the best new boozy bottles to hit store shelves. Today we’re getting in the spirit of Memorial Day with these summery packaging designs of red, white, and blue. So whether you’re heading to the crowded beaches or a good ol’ barbecue, grab one of these bottles for a nautical and patriotic weekend.

To counterbalance your weekend diet of heavy burgers and patriotic paraphernalia, we present a more delicate interpretation of red, white, and blue. The design takes a light hand, choosing a vibrant red and subtle blue to complement the liquor’s color. The quiet, clean look is a welcome break from the typical collection of patriotic designs—no stars or stripes necessary.

Perfect Ten, by Nick Edlin Design
Since this craft beer is being released late 2015, we’re putting it on our “must buy” list for next year’s festivities. By combining a contrasting color palette with strong graphic lines, the Australian brew manages to hit crisp and refreshing tones—the perfect aesthetic for a summer beer.

SMFBeer, by Nicklas Hellborg
Who would’ve thought the perfect companion to an American barbecue would be a Norwegian homemade beer? But this unlikely brew manages to capture the rustic spirit of the outdoors with its tree ring illustration and brown bottle, while the clean font brings a level of sophistication to the packaging (and maybe even to your day drinking).

La Cale, by Mélanie Laviolette
As much as we love a beach vacation, relaxing in the welcoming pool of shade beneath a palm tree (or parasol), this summery wine is taking us on a different kind of adventure. The label tells the story of shipwrecks in Saint Lawrence, and the opaque bottle complements the stories by reminding us of sea glass we collected as kids on the sand.
