Every Friday afternoon we raise a glass with the packaging design experts at The Dieline and celebrate some of the best new boozy bottles to hit the shelves. Today we’re drinking:

Rare Barrel, by Mackenzie Freemire
Let’s forget that it’s the dead of winter right now and turn our thoughts to warm, sandy beaches with Rare Barrel, a.k.a. our official beer of summer 2015. Sporting bright hues and a refreshing amount of white space, this new brew might just save us from our sun-less, snow-filled misery. No tiny umbrella necessary.

Tequila del Gallo Garcia, by Parallel
Usually roosters don’t strike us as particularly majestic creatures, but this Mexican tequila proves us wrong with a monochromatic, hand-drawn illustration of the common fowl. The close-up of the bird’s lustrous feathers creates a rich and unexpected pattern that looks as elegant on stationery as it does on the labels. Also, we’re crazy about that elegant glass flask.

Old Town Distillery Co., by Chad Michael Studio
We’re not immune to the romance and charm of old trains, and neither are the designers of Old Town Distillery Co., who borrowed some of that throwback magic for this retro label. Designed so that the distillery can self-label its liquor, it has the efficiency of a fill-out form á la vintage railway tickets. We are definitely on-board (pun intended).

Cheers!
