@hattiestewart “I still ❤️ EU. A sad day. I truly thought Britain, despite its flaws, was more progressive than regressive. Yet again the young are to have their lives defined by the old and today my country has shown how deep it’s xenophobic roots have grown. I will miss the solidarity my generation was fortunate to enjoy by being a part of the EU family. I hope that togetherness will remain, even though we do not. Above all though I pray that the laws the EU encouraged Britain to make in regards to human / womens / workers / lgbt rights are not unpicked by the sociopathic philistines of the far right if not kept in check. Fuck you Farage you slimy smug salamander shithead. I do not know how to adequately express my disappointment.“
