No need to break out the champagne flutes when we’ve got these slim growler-style brews. With its clean and contemporary custom typeface printed in a shimmery gold, Estudi Walabi manages to elevate the common brown bottle. It makes us think of a movie montage where the unexceptional bottle undergoes a makeover, and finally embodies the full potential of its beautiful packaging.

Fashion, meet packaging design. With a name that directly translates to “thread” in Catalan, the play of the lines in the typography and the golden “fil” really pulls the sparkling wine together (no pun intended). The final reveal shows an understated elegance that’s bound to wow.

If a bottle were also a love letter to classic arts, this wine is it. The shape is an homage to the stoic beauty of columns—because after all, you can’t get more classic than ancient Roman architecture. But what we appreciate more than the vaulted bottle’s form is the decision to counterbalance the obvious source of inspiration (reflected in the bottle and moniker) with the more subtle, delicate details like the golden wreath atop the cork.
